Mike Noordzy is a NJ based musician and educator.
He plays upright and electric bass in a variety of styles.
He holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Jazz Performance from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University.

an afro-cuban jazz band that interprets music by Nirvana, The Misfits, Talking Heads, The Pixies, The Beatles, Radiohead.. You can hear them every Sunday in the Summer at the R Bar in Asbury Park NJ from 5-8pm.
with guitarist Chris Welcome. Mike and Chris play standards every Sunday at Porta (911 Kingsley Ave. Asbury Park, NJ) and every Saturday at Porta (135 Newark ave, Jersey City, NJ) from noon-3pm. They are available for hire at cocktail hours/parties/lounges etc.
